Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to paid subscriptions for the Dinemetrics platform. It does not apply to customer food orders, restaurant transactions, or payments processed directly by third-party payment gateways on behalf of restaurants.
2. Subscription Cancellation
Restaurants may cancel their Dinemetrics subscription at any time by contacting support at [email protected] with one (1) month advance intimation.
- Cancellation before renewal: If a subscription is canceled before the next billing cycle, users will retain access until the current subscription period ends.
- No partial refunds: If a user cancels mid-cycle, the remaining subscription period is non-refundable.
- Annual plan cancellation: Annual subscriptions can be canceled, but no partial refunds will be issued.
- Note: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Ensure cancellation is done via your dashboard or by contacting support.
3. Refund Policy
A. Free Trial
- No charges apply if a subscription is canceled before the end of the free trial period.
- Upon expiry of the free trial, the selected subscription plan will be charged automatically.
B. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be granted only in the following cases, subject to verification:
- Billing errors: An incorrect amount was charged due to a technical or administrative error.
- Unauthorized transactions: A payment was processed without the Restaurant’s authorization.
- Material technical failure: The Dinemetrics platform was completely unavailable for an extended period due to a verified fault solely attributable to Dinemetrics, resulting in an inability to use the service.
C. Non-Refundable Cases
- Change of mind after subscription activation.
- Unused subscription periods.
- Business closure or changes in business requirements unrelated to platform performance.
- Requests submitted more than 7 days after the charge date.
4. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the Dinemetrics subscription.
- Processing timelines may vary depending on the payment service provider or bank.
5. Policy Changes
Dinemetrics reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Updates will be published on this page and will apply prospectively.
